JESS PEGRAM has been voted the Women’s Player of the Month for September, presented by SEKO.
The defender, who joined the club on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, has enjoyed an impressive run of performances having settled in at the club over the past six weeks.
She was thrown straight into the Old Firm in Hamilton just days after arriving in Glasgow, although her debut was cut short due to injury as she had to be replaced by Eilidh Austin in the derby win on the half-hour mark.
Pegram made her return quickly in the following weekend’s 4-1 win at Petershill, before helping the Gers to a clean sheet and 3-0 success over Aberdeen in Cumbernauld.
The 18-year-old has also recently been named in the England Under-19’s squad for their upcoming U19 European Championship qualifiers.
