The Light Blues will make the short trip to face Motherwell on Sunday afternoon as they return to SWPL action following the conclusion of the final international break of 2023.
Speaking to RangersTV prior to resuming domestic duties the head coach says the team are constantly learning and feels those involved in with their country over the past 10 days will be better for the experience.
She said: “I know it sounds a bit cliche but we do take it game by game, we know that we can't look too far ahead. Yes we are the only team that is unbeaten in the league right now but that is not something that we talk about in all honestly.
“We know what we want to achieve along the way, if it happens that you do lose a game but you reach success at the end of the season you've still got success. It is all about how we are progressing as a group and how we are progressing as a team.
“The international players they will learn a lot from that loss against England, so you can learn in those moments but we want to lessen those moments as much as possible. If we do, if there is a hiccup along the way we will definitely learn from it. We are just learning in the moments in the games where we are not too sure in those moments anyway.
“If there is moments in games where we have a five to 10 minute spell that is not our best, we definitely delve into that and try learn from it and eradicate it from our game.
“We know that is never going to be zero, but they are getting less and less which means our defensive performances are much better.”
The former Lioness believes it is exciting times ahead for the football club as they look to maintain their 100% record on the road when they head to K-Park this weekend.
She continued: “It is always difficult when you have already had a round of games to see where you might be now compared to where you were.
"I mentioned that the squad looks totally different to what it was. Individuals coming into that starting lineup and the squad alters how we play slightly, which is brilliant for us, that is exactly what we want.
“We can pick players now in positions that change the way we play. It is exciting times for us because we are training really well and we are performing really well. I am really happy with the performances at the end of games, we are finishing games strong.
“We have started to work on a lot of the things that were teething problems at the start of the season.
“It will be an interesting game because we are on a bit of a high, but you can have that lull with the international break in between.
“I wouldn't say it has come at a good or a bad time for us the international break. We will be going into this game on Sunday with all confidence that we should have.”
