A much improved second half display saw the Gers respond from going behind as they remained unbeaten after the top of the table clash at Ibrox.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match and on the impact of her substitutes to get her team back in the game, the head coach commented: “We have got to look at those positives, when we are in a little bit of a rut and not playing so well we have still not lost the game.
“Kirsty Maclean coming back and getting some decent minutes and effecting the game as much as she did that is real positive for us as well.
“Rio coming on and having an impact, so there is some positives to look at that, we had some really nice passages of play in and around the mid third when we did build and did create a little bit better.
“We have got to look at those moments and we have got to make sure we are putting them into practice a little bit more in games because we do it day in day out in training so it is just that transferable from training sessions into games.
“It is tough because I think it is literally a tale of two halves.
“I thought we were really poor in the first half, we didn't start well, we didn't kind of get out of that rut.
“We tweaked a few things at half time and looked more dominant, looked like scoring we managed to get our goal and probably looked like we could have got another couple as well.
“A penalty shout which is disappointing not to get, but when we are in a little bit of a rut that we are in at the moment I think the big thing is that we didn't lose the game, even though we feel like we probably should have won it by the second.
“There was opportunities and chances there but for not playing so well and playing to a standard that we expect it is important that we don't lose these games.”
The former Lioness was disappointed by the first half display which saw her side trail at the break but hailed the work of those she introduced on the game to make a difference on the day.
She continued: “Half time message? It was more about needing a little bit more, a little bit more individually, being a little bit braver.
“Trying to take the ball more and make things happen, because it was just a bit safe and tentative.
“It is something that we have been speaking about over the last couple of weeks so it is the messages that need to continue to be put forward. That is why I made the change, that is why we bring Ini on because you can see people want to give her the ball.
“She came on and she made an impact and so did Rio as well.
“It is important that we recognise that these players are having impacts and changing the game for the better, but we expect a better first half than what we put out there.”
The boss spoke of being back at Ibrox for the first time in 2024/25 and has encouraged her side to get back to winning ways next weekend in their final fixture before the international break when they take on Hibs.
She added: “It is important for us; it is big for us to be able to play these games here.
“To feel the big game experiences in a big stadium is huge experience for us. We always enjoy it; we always thrive off the opportunity to come back.
“You see that the likes of Hearts and Hibs have all improved over the summer and the support that they are getting now is a little bit better.
“I have said it from day one that these teams are going to have a little bit more of an impact on the title than maybe what they have in previous years.
“These games are big for us, we made sure that we did our business against Hearts and we have got to make sure we do our business against Hibs as well.”
