The academy graduate tried her luck from range, which went in off the underside of the bar as she helped the Light Blues to three vital points in a 3-0 win over Partick Thistle.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game to reflect on the personal moment, she commented: “I hit two exactly the same in the warm-up, and Crichts said it to me as well.
“It is something that I really want to try and improve, which is trying to be more creative and trying to pop up with goals, and also the assist side, something that I am trying to work on away from the games and no matter what position I am put in.
“I just want to try and do the best that I can for the team and try to influence the game, at the end of the day, get the three points and at this stage of the season, that is the most important thing.”
The youngster looked back on the display, which saw the Gers register three points in their penultimate away outing, highlighting the importance of set pieces, and saw them break the deadlock after a close opening.
She continued: “We are obviously really pleased; three points is the main thing at this stage of the season.
“Set pieces have been massive for us. It is something that we really practice and take pride in trying to execute.
“We have got great staff that work on these things, the movement in the box and the types of deliveries that we have as a team.
“They have been vital for us this season, we have really improved that aspect of it and also the defensive side, which is a really positive thing.”
The midfielder says everyone has a part to play in the run-in in a huge few weeks to come, as they now gear up for the final derby league encounter next weekend.
She added: “It is so important at this stage of the season that everyone is firing on all cylinders.
“We need everyone, and the girls that come off the bench, they know their role, and it is something that I am really proud of as a team, is the togetherness that we have and the impact that we know that each player can have on this team.
“We are in tomorrow to recover from it and have a full week to prepare for what will be another massive game.
“The Old Firm brings its own pressure, but with it being the second last league game of the season, it is so important that we go into this and try to give it everything like we always do, and hopefully we come out on the right end of the result.”
