JOSH GENTLES has been named Academy Player of the Month for November, presented by Carrick Packaging.
Still only 16-years-old, the young forward enjoyed a fantastic goalscoring month for Rangers B.
Indeed, Gentles ended October with his first goal for David McCallum’s side in the Glasgow Cup, before he opened the scoring against Scottish Championship side Airdrieonians in the SPFL Trust Trophy.
The teenager then netted a brace as the Under-18s ran out 4-0 winners away to Fraserburgh in the last 16 of the Scottish Youth Cup.
Sandwiched between those goalscoring outings was another call-up to the Wales Under-17s squad as his side enjoyed back-to-back victories in their quest for qualification to the European Championships.
However, the highlight of Gentles’ month arrived in the emphatic 6-0 victory over Partick Thistle in the Glasgow Cup, with the forward taking home the match ball after netting his first hat-trick for Gers B.
