K-Pop Group STAYC Visit Ibrox And Edmiston House

RANGERS were delighted this week to welcome K-pop band STAYC to Ibrox Stadium and Edmiston House.

STAYC flew to Glasgow on Monday for a whistlestop tour of the stadium, our world class events venue Edmiston House and Club Musuem.

The band were greeted by Scottish band, and Rangers supporters, Saint Phnx who presented the group with this seasons Gers tops, personalised with their name.

They then were given the grand tour of the stadium, seeing the wonderful marble staircase and changing rooms before making their way down the tunnel and out onto the pitch - where John Brown and Broxi were there to meet them.

The girls then made their way over to Edmiston House to take a look through the Gers shop and the museum before greeting their assembled fans from the balcony of the venue.

The Korean band became recognised amongst the Gers support for mistakenly wearing retro jerseys from the 1996-97 season at a recent show in Dallas, Texas.

STAYC had intended to wear the jerseys of the Texas Rangers baseball team, who recently reached the World Series, for a show as part of their US tour.

Pictures circulating on social media showed two members of the girl group wearing the home shirts fashioned into crop tops which trigged nostalgia for the Light Blues support with the strip being the one worn in the record equalling nine in a row title winning season.

The band gifted the club one of the jerseys that they wore in Texas, which will go into the archive collection of the club.
