RANGERS are thrilled to announce that Brazilian superstar Kaká will play at Ibrox Stadium on the 26th March as part of the Weekend of Legends to celebrate Rangers 150th anniversary.
Kaká is often regarded as one of the best players of his generation and his impressive career has seen him lift the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d’Or. His performances at international and club level have also seen him win FIFA World Player of the Year and the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year.
The Weekend of Legends is one of the showpiece events during Rangers’ 150th birthday month and the match will also support the Luís Figo Foundation which was founded to share the passion of football with children all over the world.
Kaká will join a World Legends squad which already features Luís Figo as Captain, Gheorge Hagi, Robert Pires, Roberto Carlos, Iván Córdoba, Claude Makélélé, José Bosingwa, Maxwell, Christian Karembeu, Júlio César, Nuno Gomes and Roy Makaay!
They will play a Rangers Legends squad captained by Barry Ferguson which includes some of our most loved players including Giovanni van Bronkhorst, Paul Gascoigne, Sasa Papac, Michael Mols, Kris Boyd, Nikica Jelavić, Ronald De Boer, Alan Hutton, Carlos Cuellar, Pedro Mendes, Lee McCulloch and Jörg Albertz!

The Rangers Fan Village will also be outside Ibrox for this match which will allow supporters and families to soak up the pre-match atmosphere, enjoy live entertainment and dine from the street food trucks. Supporters can also look forward to a half-time live music performance on the pitch!
