The young Gers’ forward spoke exclusively with RangersTV ahead of Saturday’s away fixture against East Stirlingshire, and said: “It’s another physical challenge, I think they're going to make it difficult for us but I think if we just keep playing the way we are we’ll get a good result.
“I think it’s better because we’re playing against men, it’s a big step up for all of us - being exposed to that is going to help us and benefit us in the long term.
“It will definitely benefit us physically, playing against different teams who are going to challenge us. It’s going to help us, in the long run, playing against teams who play different styles.”
Ritchie-Hosler reflected on his team’s winning performance against Spartans on Tuesday night with travelling support of Rangers fans, continuing: “I felt that we controlled the game from start to finish, coming into the season we've won our first two games and we just need that to keep going.
“The fans make it so much better and they came out in good numbers, we didn't have that last year so it’s good to have them back.”
