Hill was speaking to RangersTV after the 1-0 victory and praised the battling performance from the team. She said: “It was not a pretty performance, but three points is all we needed tonight. I thought the girls battled brilliantly. We reflected on Friday night, we managed to get the three points tonight and now we just look forward.
“I think the clean sheet is really pleasing, we have conceded a lot of goals against Hibs this season and in previous seasons, so it is big tonight.
“We have had injuries, we have had people out of position for whatever reason, but the girls just get on with it and for such a young squad this year, I think that is the one thing they have dealt with.
“You can see from the performance tonight that the girls will give everything and that is what we have to do for the remainder of the season.”
It was a big night for Hill, as she made her first start since February, and has now sets her sights on playing a part in the final matches of the season.
She continued: “I am feeling good, it has been a really frustrating season for me. I have used the time out to make sure I am in the best place possible coming back and I am ready to hopefully play whatever part I need to in the run-in, so it was good to get back out tonight.”
Next up for Rangers is a Scottish Cup semi-final against Montrose at Hampden this weekend, on that fixture, Hill added: “Montrose have been great this season, I think they were really unlucky not to get top six, so it will be a tough game and we need to be ready for it. There's a cup final at the end of the season we want to be in, and it is our trophy, so we want to keep that.”
