The vice-captain, and childhood Gers fan, helped Jo Potter’s side lift the first silverware of the season in Sunday’s 4-1 Sky Sports Cup win over Partick Thistle at Tynecastle.
It saw the Light Blues retain the trophy they lifted last term and Hill says the players are already thinking about enjoying more success this season.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV, she said: “As a fan you never tire of days like Sunday.
“We met at Ibrox and we travelled through, the music was on, we had fun in the changing room after the game.
“It is a proud moment to be part of this club and winning trophies is what we should be doing.
“It is a great feeling and you could see how much we enjoyed that.
“At the start of the season we wanted silverware, this is the first and now it is important to try and carry this on for the rest of the season.
“Days like Sunday let you take a step back and recognise how far we have come this season. “If someone had said at the start of the season we would win this cup, be top of the league and still in the other cup then we would have taken it at this stage.
“We know there is more to come in terms of performances.
“In the second half on Sunday we controlled it and got the job done. Hopefully we can push on now.”
Hill grabbed herself an assist as her terrific ball over the top of the Partick defence sent Mia McAulay on her way to the opener on Sunday.
A long-distance strike from Rachel Donaldson made it all square, before a stunning Rachel Rowe effort and a Rio Hardy strike put the Gers 3-1 up at the break.
Midfield playmaker Liv McLoughlin completed the scoring as she tucked home Brogan Hay’s cutback early in the second half.
Hill admits nerves impacted them in the early stages but praised the character of the team for getting the job done.
She added: “Sometimes you have to hold your hands up, it was a great strike to get them back into it.
“Sometimes that can be dangerous as it gives them hope but we had a few nerves at the start and it wasn’t our best half of the season.
“That comes with finals, you aren’t going to be perfect and roll over teams.
“In the second half we showed our quality and calmness and we got the job done.
“When we won this cup last season I said I wanted to win more.
“We have two other trophies to go for, we want to win the league and the Scottish Cup.
“We have bad memories of last season and hopefully we can put that right.”
