Speaking to RangersTV, the Croatian defender said: “It was a tough game for us, against good opponents, who are in good form. However it was stopped because the weather wasn’t great, and the pitch wasn’t great.
“Livingston are a physical team with strong players and they had a lot of throw ins, with a lot of aerial challenges. We knew what we were going to face and I think that we did a good job.
“I think that we were a lot more agressive, winning second balls, and I think that we wanted it more. I think that we created a lot of chances, especially in the first half.
“Their goalkeeper was really good, and I think that these performances are good for us and I think that we will get better.”
Katic has made 27 appearances for the Gers already this season, scoring three goals and he said after the game today that he will always work hard to be ready for every match.
He said: “Every win is good and for defenders, every clean sheet is good. I spoke with the manager and I know that I have to be ready for every game, and sometimes I might be out and sometimes I might be in.
The Gers defender is looking forward to facing Braga this week as the UEFA Europa League returns to Ibrox.
He said: “It’s a big game, Europa League games at Ibrox are always something special, we saw that in the first half of the season and we’re definitely looking forward to that.
“We will be playing against a really good opponent, but I think that this team has a really good chance.”
