The Gers dominated the second 45 minutes against their city rivals to claim the bragging rights with a 2-1 win and setup a clash with Hibs to try win the trophy in March.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on the derby success, she commented: “We are buzzing, the performance was strong throughout and just to get there we are buzzing and I think we deserved it.
“Second half display? I think they were trying to make the game as frantic as possible and it is down to us to try and calm that down a little bit.
“We did well to keep it at 0-0, we had a couple of chances ourselves but obviously they didn't quite come off, but second half we had a lot more control over the game.
“A couple of chances that we managed to put away and then I thought we saw the game out quite nicely.”
The 30-year-old added to her impressive goal tally this campaign with a fantastic free kick to double the lead on the day, as she spoke of the moment and scoring for the third derby in a row since making the move north of the border.
She continued: “Anything around the box I am always looking to try and put it in the back of the net.
“We had a little chat before I took the free kick, four or five of us just trying to plan what we were going to do.
“From that range it is just about hitting the target and I was just glad that it went in.
“I am just glad for the group that we just managed to get through to that final and we will look forward to that in March.
The striker spoke of the control from the team throughout the second period but says there are things they can tighten up on in the games to come leading up to that clash in two months’ time.
She added: “I think we limited them to a minimum amount of chances and that is credit to us.
“We scored that second goal which calmed things down a little bit then I thought we controlled the game really well.
“Obviously when we get in on Tuesday we can look back at that goal but the massive thing is we won the game, got through to the final but that goal is maybe something that we can just have a look at and see how we can improve on it.
“We will be up and ready for that one in March.”
