The Light Blues sealed their return to the competition for the new campaign to compete amongst Europe’s elite for the first time since September 2022.
Speaking to the official Gers website after agreeing a deal to extend her stay at the club for the next two years, she said: “It is so exciting, I have obviously played in it a few times.
“I played in the Champions League at Glasgow City and we were quite successful in the sort of old format of the Women's Champions League and then two seasons ago we had a good experience.
“We managed to get through the first little group and then played Benfica at Ibrox which was amazing and took them to extra time over there as well.
“It is a really good experience playing in the Champions League and I am really excited to do it all over again with different coaching and playing staff.
“It is massive for the club; it is where we want to be so to be there again next season is exciting.
“I have loved my time here. I have been here nearly four years now so there is really no place I would rather be and I am happy to be here.”
The forward has reflected on the recently finished season where the Light Blues claimed a domestic cup double, as the side had to adapt to playing a new formation where she formed a prolific strike partnership with Rio Hardy.
She continued: “It was a lot of information at the start, it is obviously expected when a new manager comes in.
“It wasn't really a formation that I have ever played, especially in senior football, I have always just played a kind of 4-3-3 so up front on my own but it has been great.
“Rio and I spent a lot of time on the pitch together playing as a two, to be honest it kind of clicked quite early on for us.
“We just somehow know where the other one is and we just seem to be on the same page.
“It has been great, I have loved playing in that formation, it allows us to play loads of attacking football and sustain attacks which as strikers that is what you want to do and we have managed to get a lot of goals from it.
“It has been great and obviously playing with Rio it has kind of been effortless at times, it has been really good.
“Obviously squad depth has been massive, different points of the season, different injuries.
“I was out injured, the depth that we have as a squad is amazing, it is huge and we know that anyone that comes in, Sarah and Jane in our position as well can go in and do a job and do it well.
“Definitely taking it into the new season we will adapt to whatever formation Jo wants us to play but hopefully we get a chance to play together again because I think we have done pretty well doing it.”
