The Light Blues ended the year in disappointing fashion with back-to-back SWPL defeats against Glasgow City and Hibs respectively but now have the opportunity to bounce back with so much to play for in 2025.
Speaking to RangersTV to look ahead to the side’s return to action following the winter break as they take on Queen’s Park tomorrow lunchtime, she commented: “We are really disappointed with the last two results.
“We know from our standards it is not good enough; from a Rangers point of view it is not good enough.
“We have had a real good chunk of time to reflect individually, we had a good team meeting where we have discussed different things.
“I think that break came at a really good time for us.
“We had the luxury that we actually got a break and we didn't have a game three or four or seven days later.
“It came at a good time, we had that chance to switch off, we have all worked really hard during that break as well it has not been a time of just sitting doing nothing.
“We are excited to put things right in this part of the season.”
The 27-year-old has challenged the team to reach their early season levels with the Gers impressing in their displays in the first few months of the campaign.
She continued: “At the start of the season we came in and we were playing really well, scoring loads of goals but I think as well as that teams have improved within the league.
“They suss you out a little bit more so we need to find more ways to break teams down, to make it hard for them because they are doing that to us and finding ways to win and we need to do that pretty quickly.
“Queen’s Park? They have obviously had a lot of change as well, in the last month or so.
“We are not really sure what we'll get but we know that every team now is putting in a solid performance, they are going to make it difficult for us so we need to again find a way to break that down and getting back to winning ways is the main thing for us.”
Away from playing, the forward has also spent time over the last year earning her coaching badges, where she recently obtained her UEFA B license, as she spoke of the experience and why she went down that route in the game.
She added: “The PFA at the start of last year in March time were offering a C licence so I decided to do that.
“A pro only alongside other male and female pro players and then did the B licence along with Jane and Tessel and some players from the men's game as well.
“It was good to be alongside other pro players and get perspective from them as well so it was a really valuable experience.”
