The midfielder, whose last outing came back in an SWPL match against Aberdeen at the end of January, featured for the final 30 minutes in the 3-2 win in the capital.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on being involved in the squad once again as well as looking ahead to the season finale against Partick Thistle tomorrow afternoon, the youngster commented: “I am so happy to be back out on the pitch. The girls have been a great support, all the girls and the staff.
“It makes a huge difference when you are off the pitch and you are injured.
“No one wants to be injured but it's a great feeling to be back.
“It was a really tough time, any athlete that's injured knows what that feels like but we have got a great group of girls and they were always there when I needed them and the staff.
“Jo and all the physios were great with me as well so I can't thank them enough.
“I have been fortunate enough not to have any injuries before this, so I got stuck with a tough one for my first time but it is a learning curve and I have come back from it now.”
The midfielder has paid tribute to her teammates for helping her through the spell on the sidelines, as she targets further minutes in the two matches that remain this season.
She continued: “They have been massive, even though I was on the sideline I always felt a part of it.
“The experienced girls they have went through injuries as well.
“There is a couple like Jane for example who had a hard one last year, they gave me loads of advice and they really helped me along the way.
“At the same time I just needed to keep my head down.
“You need to have the end goal in your head and that was to obviously get back on the pitch by the end of the season and I have managed to do that so I am really happy.
“Anyone that comes back from injury needs to build up their minutes so that is what I will be looking to do over the next couple of games.
Maclean has looked ahead to the final match of the season tomorrow afternoon, with the Gers looking for results elsewhere to go their way to claim the title, and she feels the team just have to focus on themselves and getting the job done.
She added: “We have said all along we know what we need to do.
“We need to get three points and at the end of the day other teams need to do the same so we just need to focus on ourselves, get the three points and that is all we can do.
“We have had really tough games against Partick Thistle, they are a great side and they have really shown that this season.
“I think they have got a lot to be proud of but we obviously need to look at ourselves and know how we can hurt them as team and that is what we will be doing this week.
“The fans are great; they have always been great throughout the whole season.
“Not just for me but they are like another member of our team.
“They help us through the games so much and we couldn't do it without them.”
