The 18-year-old defender was part of a backline which kept a clean sheet in last night's 3-0 victory over Bangor, rounding off a successful tour of Northern Ireland for the young Gers this summer.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory, Webster commented: "It was very enjoyable. It was a tough game. They played a lot of long balls and had big physical strikers, so it was just about having success winning the first and second balls.
"We created many chances going forward, playing through them where they couldn't handle us technically. We're delighted with the game today.
"Everyone dug in deep. It's never easy playing against the long balls, especially when their striker is six-foot-three and he's a big unit. It is tough being in the back four, but keeping a clean sheet is so important for us. The momentum could do us well and create good habits."
The young Gers have enjoyed a strong Rangers backing throughout both matches in Northern Ireland, playing their part in two impressive victories for David McCallum's side.
Webster added: "Obviously there was a little bit of nerves playing in the first two games of pre-season with a big crowd. They're both wanting and expecting you to do well. It was a good turnout and it's nice to play in front of fans as it sets you up for the future.
"If it's competitive then it can stand you in good stead throughout the season. Being able to play with your back against the wall at times and playing in a game which means something. The supporters were here tonight, and you want to play for them, succeed and win."
