Alex played the full 90 minutes as Hearts fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Dundee at Dens Park in their return to Scottish Premiership action.
It was a second consecutive start for the 20-year-old in league action for the Edinburgh side, while he also featured off the bench in their midweek Europa Conference League qualifying defeat to PAOK.
Hearts will now shift their attention to their return leg in Greece on Thursday evening as they look to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit.

Jacob Pazikas – Civil Service Strollers
Jacob played 35 minutes before he was forced off through injury in his side’s 2-1 away defeat to Gretna 2008 in the Lowland League on Saturday afternoon.
The Strollers suffered a last-minute defeat as their four-match unbeaten run was halted, with Jacob having started all seven league matches this term.
The 18-year-old will now look forward to next weekend’s visit of Bo’ness United as his side look to continue their positive start to the campaign.

Kristian Webster – Cumbernauld Colts
Kristian joined Cumbernauld Colts on loan until January on Saturday morning and was a second half substitute in his side’s 3-0 away victory over Bo’ness United later in the day.
The 18-year-old defender was introduced in the 63rd minute as he helped his side register a clean sheet in his first outing as a Colts player.
Kristian will look to establish himself in the team over the coming weeks as the Lowland League side welcome Broomhill to Broadwood Stadium next weekend.
