The youngster has played a starring role in Rangers’ journey to the showpiece matchup against Glasgow City, scoring five in the last 16 match against St Johnstone, one against Partick Thistle in the quarters, before a brace and spot kick conversion in the dramatic last four Old Firm derby win.
Speaking to RangersTV at Fir Park ahead of the team’s clash against Glasgow City, she shared her excitement: “I am really excited for the game and so is the whole team.
“We know it is another cup final and it is a big occasion and we can't wait to go play in it.
“I think it would be massive, it will be the first one I'll be part of as a proper first-team player.
“If I am to play, it would be a really proud moment, and the whole team will go out and give their best, and hopefully we can get the result we want.”
The 18-year-old had to watch from the stands 12 months ago when the Gers claimed the trophy for the third time in succession, having been cup-tied, but says she is eager to play her part on the Fir Park surface, having done so during her time on loan with Motherwell.
She continued: “Last final? That was a great day, the team were amazing that day. We played excellently and had loads of goal scorers.
“It was a good day all-round, and hopefully we can replicate that against City and get the cup.
“I played here when I was on loan at Motherwell, and it was enjoyable.
“It is a great stadium and pitch; I have some fond memories. I scored in that game, so hopefully I can go out and do that again for Rangers this time.
“That Celtic game has really shown what we can do, and if we need to go to 120 minutes or penalties, we are confident.
“We have done it before, and it gives us the experience of that. We'll go into the game with full confidence that we can win it, and we will hopefully do just that.
“We can all take that into the game, and you can see how together we are with the recent games and fixtures, and that is the best thing you can ask for in a team, is how together everyone is and wants to do well for the team and each other, and it just really helps.”
Having got the better of their Sunday opponents in league action yesterday, the striker knows what challenge to expect, as she spoke of what it would mean for the Light Blues to claim the cup for a record-equalling fourth time in succession.
She added: “We know how tough an opposition they are. They have got a great defence and attack as well.
“If we go out there and play our football, then I think we'll be fine, but we just need to turn up on the day and do our best.
“At the club, we set out for all the trophies, and this is the first one in the season.
“We want to start off well and get this cup, and then hopefully keep going into the split.
“Do as well as we can, and then we have obviously got a semi-final at Hampden to prepare for too.
“There are loads of games coming up, and we're all really excited to go and do our best in them.”
