The youngster was on hand to score a derby brace at Broadwood in the Old Firm derby yesterday, as well as convert her spot kick in their dramatic penalty shootout success to claim a third win over their city rivals this season.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, the forward was full of emotion on a dramatic day, she said: “I am over the moon, I couldn't have asked for a better game for myself.
“It is a dream to play in these type of games and for Leanne [Crichton] to give me the opportunities at such a young age I am delighted and I am just taking it in my stride.
“I am buzzing, I am buzzing for the team I think we have worked across a whole game today.
“We are just really happy to get through to the final.”
The 18-year-old described the moment she kept the tie alive by popping up with a stoppage time equaliser, whilst crediting her teammate Jenna Fife for the part she had to play in the victory by coming up with three penalty saves on the day including two in the shootout.
She continued: “What was going through my head? I didn't think much, I was just about on the goal line so I knew I just had to get anything on it.
“Luckily I did and there is no feeling that is quite like that scoring in the 90th minute, I was buzzing.
“Jenna was class the whole game. We did penalties in training and she did the exact same as she did out there today she saved half of our pens.
“Going into the penalty shootout we were confident and we all have faith in her; I am so happy for her.”
Rangers now have a cup final to look forward to when they take on Glasgow City at Fir Park at the end of March, with Berry highlighting the spirit of the team for the positive place they are currently in.
She added: “There is a belief in the team right now, we are really together and we know that we will fight for each other until the 90th minute.
“We never give up and over the past two games we have shown that we will go right until the end and that is what we will do all season.
“I feel like we are in a good place. We have got people coming back from injuries and we are just going from strength so hopefully we can continue that for the whole of the season.
“I am a Rangers fan so I know that the club is all about winning trophies and that is what we will go out and try to do.”
