LAURA BERRY has been named the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League Player of the Month winner for April.
The youngster, who has been enjoying a successful loan spell at Motherwell has been rewarded for her fine goal scoring form after making the temporary switch to the fellow top-flight side.
The 16-year-old, who signed her first professional contract with the Gers back in the summer of 2023, featured for Jo Potter’s side in the first half of the campaign before making the move where she has scored eight goals in nine appearances so far.
She found the back of the net twice throughout the month, scoring a double in the draw with Spartans with Paul Brownlie’s side continuing their impressive run of form remaining unbeaten in their four matches.
