The defender has put pen to paper on a two-year extension, committing her future to the Light Blues in a season which has been mainly disrupted by injuries.
Speaking to RangersTV on her time with the Gers and looking towards what’s to come, she said: “If I am really being honest, it has been tough, but I have loved every second of it.
“Which is probably the overriding feeling, where if you spoke to a player who has had a couple of injuries, you can usually find it has been quite hard, but I have had some of the best moments of my life at this club.
“I want to create many more, our environment, our standards, everything that we do day in day out and putting that shirt on makes you fill with pride.
“Going into the last game of the season, I'll be playing a different role to the one that is on the pitch, but that is fine by me because we have got girls that will embrace every bit of the challenge.
“Going into pre-season and being a part of that where I want to be will be fantastic, and that is why I work so hard in the gym to make sure I can be in that place with the girls.
“It is always a massive season for us because we all push limits, we all test standards, and we'll try and make the fans as happy as possible and share amazing moments with them, and it starts with the day-by-day stuff that we do, and that will start in pre-season.”
Having settled north of the border and relaunching her own coaching academy here, the centre-back shared her enjoyment at life in her new home during her time in Scotland so far.
She continued: “A lot of time when you play football, you are somewhere, but you always want to be close to your family and things like that.
“For me, I would love my family to move up to Glasgow, I love it that much up here.
“Obviously, with the coaching up here, it has been fantastic, seeing how much the young generation love Rangers and wants to be in our position, and just showing that we are doing the right thing and we are doing things well because girls want to be in our position.
“Hopefully one day they absolutely can be, for now, as well, it is about enjoying that and showing the younger generation what you can win at this club, and it is well worth every bit of hard work you put in.”
The Northern Ireland international went into detail on the impact the Head Coach has had on the group this season, whilst sharing excitement for the team’s European return next season.
She added: “She has been personally incredible for me. I think the sense of calmness, the experience that she brings to the group, has been fantastic for all of us.
“Obviously, it has been a year of transitions, and when you look at someone like Leanne, she has really settled the ship in terms of making each day worth it.
“Her tactical brain, her experience brain from playing, understanding the league and the personnel that is in it too, but how she treats us as people before anything is massive.
“It is where we want to be, it is where we work every single day to be, it is where the badge deserves to be, and we have a group that is hungry to make that as much as we can.
“It is exciting, getting it right now is massive for us collectively, it was something that was a target for us, and it always is.
“To achieve that is fantastic, and it just makes you hungry to be back on the pitch to be part of that.”
