The defender joined the Light Blues from Hibs on a two-year deal as she becomes Jo Potter’s first new signing of the window ahead of the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
Speaking to RangersTV in her first interview since signing for the club, the centre-back wants to achieve success at the Gers and make that new step as a player.
She said: “They have obviously been successful last season, I would love to be a part of that and it is something that I would love to add to my career, winning trophies and hopefully I can do that.
“I have not experienced winning any silverware in my career so far.
“Hopefully the next season will be the first and it can continue from there. I have been in it [SWPL] for a number of years now.
“I am just looking to take that next step for me and hopefully I can challenge myself and develop as a player.”
"I am really excited; I think pre-season will be really good and hopefully the team gels as quick as they can.
“The pre-season trip will help with that and we can hit the ground running.”
The 23-year-old has spoken of her journey in the game so far, which has included a brief spell with the Gers and a Scotland debut back in 2021, as she is hopeful the move will help her be called up consistently for her country.
She continued: “I joined Hibs about five years ago and unfortunately got an ACL injury in my first game for the club.
“That was probably my lowest point of my professional career and from then I have been playing consistently which was the main thing.
“I have enjoyed my time at Hibs, it was great. I am just looking to take that next step and challenge myself.
“What was your brief spell at Rangers like? It was good, it was obviously before loads of money and stuff got invested.
“I enjoyed my time there; it was a hard decision to leave the club and go to Hibs but I feel as if it was the right one and hopefully I am making the right decision coming back.
“I probably never expected it to come in 2021 at that moment in time.
“It was quite a nice surprise and it was good to just to train with different girls from different clubs and learn from them.
“I hope so, just different training environments and playing with different players will hopefully develop me and I can hopefully get into the squad consistently.”
Eddie gave fans a taster of what they can expect when she steps onto the pitch and she feels knowing a lot of the squad already will help her settle in quickly at the club.
She added: “I have been captain of the Scotland Under-23's squad. I am hoping to bring leadership attributes to the team and just first and foremost get in and get sorted and hopefully hit the ground running.
“That will be good, I think I know the majority of the squad so far.
“I am just looking to build relationships with some of the girls that I don't know yet and build even more of a relationship with the girls that I know so far so I am looking forward to it.”
