RANGERS Academy can today confirm Lewis Stewart has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2026/27 season, with the option for a further year.
The winger, 19, impressed on loan at Alloa Athletic last campaign, picking up Player of the Year and Fans’ Player of the Year at the side’s end-of-season awards ceremony.
He made 30 appearances for the Wasps, scoring three times and registering six assists as they only narrowly missed out on promotion to the Scottish Championship.
Speaking after extending his contract in Rangers colours, Stewart commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to have extended my contract with the club.
“It’s a real honour to walk through those blue gates each and every day, and this club has been an important part of my life.
“Last season at Alloa was a really crucial step in my development, and I feel I’ve grown a lot as a player, but I know there’s still so much more hard work ahead and I’m fully focused on pushing on and improving even further.”
