The youngster, who doesn’t turn 16 until next month, was introduced as a half time substitute in the Gers’ Scottish Cup third round victory over Westdyke this afternoon.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match to reflect on the experience, she commented: “It is a really proud moment for me and my family.
“I have been at the club since I was eight and obviously I am a Rangers fan so it is a really proud moment and I am delighted to make my competitive debut today.
“Receiving the news I was involved? I was obviously really excited; I have not been a matchday squad for a while so I was really buzzing to get the call-up and to get on is even better.”
The midfielder spoke of the display overall as the Light Blues scored an impressive 24 goals on the day to book their place in the next round, as she says it was great to be involved in.
She continued: “It was really good, some of the passages of play were amazing from all the players and everyone played really well.
“I was really happy to be a part of the win today.”
The youngster was previously part of the squad’s pre-season training camp in Spain in the summer whilst featuring in matchday squads throughout the campaign so far, as she spoke of the whirlwind few months she’s had at the club.
She added: “The first team is amazing; you just learn so much mentally and physically.
“Being in the training is just a great environment to be in and it develops you so much as a player and as a person.
“Training with senior pros? It has been really good. They give you really good advice that you can take down to the academy so it is really good and you look up to them as young players.
“Coming up and getting to play alongside them is just amazing.
“It makes me really eager to get more.
“Getting minutes with the first team it is obviously brilliant and you just keep learning so much and hopefully there is more to come.”
