The Gers are in action for the third time this week off the back of Scottish Cup progression and a league victory on Wednesday evening, as they head to Petershill to take on Glasgow City.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on their midweek win and look ahead to their next fixture, she commented: “We really need to keep momentum now after the three points, six points would be massive, getting the Christmas break and then starting the new year on a high.
“It is going to be massive, obviously it was close last time but we back ourselves every time and we are confident to go and get the three points.
“We can maybe create a bit more chances and be a bit more clinical in the final third, I think that will benefit us on Sunday.”
The 28-year-old says it was crucial the Gers got over the line in their midweek victory over Motherwell, highlighting their strong defence showing towards the end to claim three vital points.
She continued: “It was maybe not our best performance but I think the main thing for us all was the three points and a clean sheet and we can move onto Sunday.
“Obviously after the international break and getting everyone back it is just important that we got the win and on a night like that we could have slipped up but we did well to hold strong at the end.”
Predominantly playing her career on the flank, Arnot filled in at left-back in the absence of Nicola Docherty on the night and provided a match-winning assist, as she spoke of playing a slightly different role.
She added: “Playing left-back was a bit different but I know I can get forward so I just saw that my opportunity was there to get high and just try and get the ball in the box and I can rely on Wilko to get her head on it and get the goal.
“It is different but I have been playing it in training and stuff so I am just learning and growing each week.
“Obviously I hope Nic is back soon but if I can fill in for when possible then I'll be there to do the job.”
