The forward says the squad are using every session to make sure they continue to improve both individually and as a team.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV, Arnot said: “Pre-season is going really well, you can tell everyone is just buzzing to be back and there has been a good atmosphere and really good quality.
“We got that time off so we knew it was important just to switch off physically and mentally just so we could come back in a good shape to kick on again.
“We had our fitness tests when we first came back which is always hard but I think it's important because it gives us the gauge of where we are at. There are things that personally I want to build on but there's things I am happy with as well so I am feeling good going into pre-season.
“We all knew it was disappointing where we finished last season but we can only learn from it and the players are all really motivated and determined to push on and not let that happen again so our biggest aim is to improve so that is what we are doing every session.”
Arnot is looking forward to linking-up with former Manchester United teammate Jane Ross who has joined the club ahead of the new season.
She continued: “I was delighted when I heard she was signing, she is a great player and she is a great person to have in the squad and I think she'll really boost the team on and off the pitch.
“We all know she is a goalscorer and I think her experience will help everyone but I am really looking forward to playing with her again.
“We are still a relatively young group and some of us have played at teams where we are expected to win but as a group we all need to come together and use those experiences. People like Jane who have been at big clubs and have expectations will only drive our standards and everyone can learn.”
