Jak was between the sticks for Blackpool as they earned an excellent 2-2 draw away to high-flying Ipswich Town on Saturday. Leading 2-1 at one stage, Blackpool were pegged back from the penalty spot on 58 minutes. Only goal difference is keeping the Seasiders outside the play-off spots at present, and they host Maidstone United in FA Cup round two on Sunday.

Eduardo was a late substitute for Necaxa as they suffered a shock 3-0 home reverse to 18th-placed Puebla. They are still six points clear inside the play-off places in Liga MX in fifth position.

Jake played 64 minutes as Rotherham earned a super 3-2 away win at MK Dons. Trailing 2-0, the Millers struck three times without replay in the second half to claim the superb win. They are up to fourth in League One – well inside the play-off spots and four points off the automatic places.

Jason played 59 minutes and was booked as St Johnstone, who ended the match with nine men, came from behind to draw 1-1 with Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park. Saints are bottom of the table on goal-difference – though they are tied on points with Hamilton, St Mirren and Hearts. They face Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday.

Robby’s Queen of the South were on the end of a huge Scottish Cup shock as they lost 2-1 at home to League Two strugglers Queens’ Park. They will have to bounce back quickly with a trip to Dundee to come on Saturday.

Aidan played 90 minutes as Edinburgh City secured their place in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup with a 4-3 home win over Annan. They have been drawn away to Premiership side Hamilton Accies in the next round. City return to League action at Hampden against Queens’ Park on Saturday.
