Jak Alnwick – Blackpool

Jak will continue to miss the next few weeks for Blackpool after being forced off in their Boxing Day match with Accrington Stanley with an arm injury.

Jamie Barjonas – Partick Thistle

Jamie made his Thistle debut from the bench as they went down 2-0 at Arbroath. Trailing 2-0 at the time, Brian Graham’s late goal wasn’t enough to help the Jags back into the game. They are now bottom of the table – two points behind the relegation play-off spot and three from safety. Thistle are at Stephen Kelly’s Ayr on Friday night.

Jake Hastie – Rotherham United

Jake was an unused substitute as Rotherham were beaten 2-1 at Peterborough to surrender their grip on first place in League One. Now in second place, they host new league-leaders Ipswich tomorrow night.

Jason Holt – St Johnstone

Jason was back in the St Johnstone line-up and played 90 minutes to help them to a crucial 2-1 win over Kilmarnock at McDiarmid Park on Saturday. David Wotherspoon grabbed the winner on 83 minutes to move Saints up to eighth – five points clear of the relegation play-off with two games in hand.

Robby McCrorie – Livingston

After making a hugely impressive debut for Livingston on Wednesday as they defeated St Johnstone 1-0, Robby helped Livi to another victory as they beat Hamilton 4-2 at New Douglas Park. Livi play host to Motherwell on Saturday.

Ross missed-out for Portsmouth as he continues his recovery from injury.

Jamie Murphy – Burton Albion

Jamie played 78 minutes on his debut for Burton as they drew 1-1 at home to Accrington Stanley in League One. That result saw Burton slip behind the play-off places – indeed they are now two points adrift. They travel to AFC Wimbledon in the league on Tuesday night.

Stephen Kelly – Ayr United

Stevie grabbed the all-important winning goal for Ayr as they defeated fellow play-off hopefuls Inverness at Somerset Park. Netting after 61 minutes, Ayr moved to within a point of second-placed Caley, and are a comfortable six points inside the play-off places with a game in hand.

Nicky Hogarth – Stirling Albion

Nicky was awarded ‘Man of the Match’ in spite of Stirling Albion being beaten 2-1 at home by Elgin City. Albion are sixth but are just two points outside the play-offs with a game in hand.
