The Light Blues netted three times in the final ten minutes to round off an entertaining afternoon in Govan, including a 60-pass move which culminated in Scott Arfield adding the fifth goal of the game.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match, Lundstram commented: "There were positives to pick up on. We scored a couple of really good goals, one of which involved 60 passes, so that's a big positive. That's our game and what we've been trying to implement. We work on that all week so I'm sure the manager will be happy with that one as he loves that type of possession football.
"There were a lot of positives, but also a few things that we need to work on, especially set-pieces which wasn't great. We defended them firstly well, but we need to get out a little bit quicker to the second ball then it's dropped to them. We need to sharpen up on that front, but there were positives.”
The Gers make the trip to Pittodrie next Sunday afternoon in the final league match before the split, and Lundstram hopes that his side carry the momentum from their second half showing into next weekend.
He continued: "I said to the lads at half-time that we were just lacking that final pass at times. It was just about going out and implementing that, and making the final pass better in the second half, so to go out and do it was pleasing.
"The games are coming thick and fast so we need to look forward to the next game now. We'll be back on the training pitch, all geared towards Aberdeen away as we know it's a tough place to go. I've been involved up there when we've drawn so we need to go there positive and get a win."
