It was the final match for the squad before the Scottish Premiership winter break as Clement’s side dominated in front of a home crowd.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match, Lundstram said: “I thought it was a really good performance, I thought we started brilliantly, we were on the front-foot, and we created a few opportunities.
“We didn't quite get the goal as early as we wanted too but because we started so fast, we had a little five-minute spell where they came back into the game a little bit but it is hard to dominate a 90 minute game of football relentlessly.
“They came back in for five minutes but then we got the goal and got the second. They had a little push after half-time as they probably got words, so they came out and had a little go and scored but thankfully we bounced back and reacted well.
“We rode it and we were fine and we got a lovely goal and so we are happy.”
Lundstram hopes Rangers can go on another run of results, as he already looks forward to the fixtures coming up after the winter break.
He continued: “It was important we bounced back after losing the three points last week against Celtic, so we are happy to come back and get the three points today and get the run back going.
“It has been really tough but as you can see today, we are getting lads back now and after the winter break, I think we can go full steam ahead at the upcoming fixtures.
“We are getting all our big players back now after the break, so I am looking forward to it and I am looking forward to getting back going again.”
