With nine different goalscorers at Petershill, the 17-year-old said it was a great team performance as the Light Blues signed-off for international break on a high.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, Maclean said: “I thought it was a great team performance, you can see that with all the goals and the number of different goalscorers as well, everyone contributed really well.
“We showed composure in front of goal, and that just boosts our confidence going into the next round. Obviously we have got the international break coming up just now so it is good to go into the break with confidence too.”
Maclean was on target this afternoon with a superb long-distance strike midway through the first-half and the midfielder said she is enjoying her role in the squad at the moment.
“Scoring goals is something I want to add to my game,” she continued. “So I was happy to do that today.
Looking ahead to the upcoming Scotland U19 camp, Maclean added: “I am really looking forward to it, we will have two really competitive matches and to be away with my international team is always a great honour so I am really pleased.”
