The Light Blues will host Hibs at the stadium in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League as they get the opportunity to play in front of the home support having done so in the league and Europe in previous campaigns.
Speaking at Ibrox ahead of the fixture on Sunday afternoon Maclean says getting a good backing would definitely help the players and says they are looking forward to the chance to play there once again.
She said: “Getting a crowd would be massive. The crowd gets behind us all and lifts us on the pitch, gives us the motivation that we need, everything we do is for them as well.
“Obviously we had Champions League experience last season, which was a great learning experience for the whole team. The last game against Glasgow City as well wasn't the result we wanted, but we had the crowd in and hopefully, we can keep that coming.
“We are really looking forward to it, it is a great occasion getting to play at a stadium like this. Playing for Rangers that is what everyone wants to be able to play at Ibrox so we are all really looking forward to it.”
The youngster believes getting the chance to play in a big stadium can only help the growth of the game further and help inspire the younger generation to see what they can hopefully achieve themselves in the future.
She continued: “I think for the league as well as the women's game it is huge. Teams across the league are getting to play at stadiums as well, it is just going to grow the game more. Little girls can come to the game and they can see what they are able to achieve when they are older too.”
The midfielder knows their opponents will be a stern test having faced them in previous campaigns but is hopeful the team is able to put on a performance as they look to continue their momentum in the SWPL.
She added: “Hibs are always a tough opponent. We have always had close games against them, but we are good at analysing throughout the week and we'll know what they are going to do and we'll think of our game plan too.
“If we have a good performance that will encourage the fans to come back. It will make them enjoy the day a lot more, we want to put in a good performance to get the result and for everyone around to have a good day.”
