Five second-half goals helped the Light Blues to another three points at Rangers Training Centre.
Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “I am pleased with the result and pleased with the scoreline. I thought we showed good patience in our play throughout the game especially in the first half when we created a lot of chances but never managed to convert.
“In the second-half, we again dominated the game and created similar chances to the first-half but we managed to convert.
“They are a great bunch of girls, they have a great focus but I think the staff round about them the influence that is round about them work tirelessly and it is a real good environment to work in.”
Thomson was delighted to see Kayla McCoy on the scoresheet as the forward came of the bench to score her first goal for the club.
He continued: “I am really pleased for Kayla. It has been a long journey for her and she has managed to score her goal tonight, so she is happy.
“It is pleasing and also for the youth players to come and get that valuable experience which will help them later on in their careers.”
