East Stirlingshire currently occupy 16th place in the Lowland League heading into this weekend, tasting successive defeats after their convincing 5-1 win over Dalbeattie Star.
The Shire could still finish level on points with Cowdenbeath, although their vastly inferior goal difference means they’re likely to end the campaign four places off the bottom of the table.
PREVIOUS MEETING
Rangers ran out 4-1 winners over East Stirlingshire in the reverse fixture at Dumbarton Stadium despite going a goal down inside two minutes.
The Light Blues responded strongly through goals from Robbie Ure and Charlie Lindsay either side of the interval before the former netted twice inside 11 minutes to complete his hat-trick and seal a vital three points.
