OUR OPPONENTS
Edinburgh University head into the game off the back off a 12-game losing streak, with their last victory in all competitions coming in the Fourth Round of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup where they ran out 3-1 winners over Musselburgh on November 26.
Dorian Ogunro’s men currently sit in 18th place in the Lowland League table, a point ahead of a bottom-placed Dalbeattie Star on six points having played two games more.
PREVIOUS MEETING
The young Gers continued their strong start to their Lowland League campaign when the two sides last met in October, with the Light Blues running out 3-1 winners at Dumbarton Stadium.
Connor Young broke the deadlock for the Gers early in the contest, but the hosts were pegged back midway through the second half.
However, the Light Blues responded well and they were rewarded with goals from Arron Lyall and Robbie Ure late on which sealed all three points.
