The winger has been named in the lineup in the two competitive fixtures since the Gers returned from the winter break as he now looks for a third start in a week tomorrow afternoon.
Speaking to the media in today’s press conference as Rangers prepare for the short trip to Paisley to take on St Mirren, he commented: “I am getting to where I need to be. Going away to La Manga helped that, with the hard work we had there and the friendly helping to prepare for these games now. I feel like I am in a good way and I am just going to show that and push.”
“As an attacker I might say to you always try and help the team by scoring goals and assists. Obviously it is something the manager would demand from all his attackers.
“I know personally the goals I have; I know what I want to achieve for the club and myself. Ultimately it is just pushing myself and getting there.
“To play as many games as I can and to help the team, to obviously up my numbers. By me doing the best I can do I am sure that will help the team so just playing regularly and helping the team.”
The Welshman has reflected on the midweek win in the capital but says full attention will now turn to their lunchtime match on Saturday.
He continued: “It was a good team performance first and foremost. It was nice to be back out there and back in the league and getting the result that we did because it is not an easy place to go.
“We are just going to focus on ourselves and take game by game. We have got another big one tomorrow, it is not going to be easy going there. We will give it our all and go for all three points like we always try and do for every game.”
The 23-year-old spoke of the team as they look to push on in the second half of the season and has encouraged the squad to carry on from their midweek showing in Edinburgh.
He added: “Like he [Clement] has always said from the get-go, to believe in what we are doing. To work hard for each other and to do what we set up for the team. As long as we keep doing what the manager wants I am sure we will be in a good way.
“We proved that in the last game but we know there is many games to come and we have just got to keep on going the way we have been.”
