Matt Polster Joins New England Revolution

RANGERS can confirm that Matt Polster will leave Ibrox to join Major League Soccer franchise, New England Revolution.

Rangers have accepted an offer for the permanent transfer of Matt Polster to return to the MLS for an undisclosed fee.

Polster made 10 appearances for the Rangers First Team, playing at both full back and midfield. The USA international has been a model professional and has displayed a willingness to support his team mates showing versatility and consistent hard work in training.

A popular member of the squad, Matt leaves with the best wishes of everyone at Rangers Football Club. Since joining the Light Blues in 2019, he played in the Scottish Premiership, League Cup and was part of our UEFA Europa League squad.

Sporting Director, Ross Wilson commented: "We accepted a bid from New England Revolution for Matt last week and we now wish him every success back in the MLS.

"We respect his desire to play regularly and he will be afforded that opportunity back in the US.
