The youngster, who is just 15 years of age and won’t turn 16 until the start of next month, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal until the summer of 2028.
Cruft featured in first-team matchday squads on 10 occasions in the previous campaign, making her debut in a Sky Sports Cup victory over Dundee United back in September 2024.
She also played her part in the Gers’ run to retaining the Scottish Cup in May, featuring from the off in the 5-0 win in the semi-final success over Aberdeen at Hampden Park as the Light Blues went on to claim the trophy and win back-to-back domestic cup doubles.
Cruft will now be part of the first-team squad on a permanent basis ahead of the new campaign whilst combining training with her education studies. Having featured in recent friendly matches against Middlesbrough, as well as gaining valuable experience facing off against both Milan clubs in the Gers’ pre-season camp in Northern Italy.

Speaking after signing the pro deal, Cruft commented: “It is obviously an amazing feeling to sign my first professional contract. It is something that I dreamed of since I was kid so be able to do that is an amazing feeling.
“I wasn't really expecting it. Thinking back last year I obviously wasn't thinking oh I am going to sign this year but to be able to do that is really good.”
