The young Ger believes that the win this afternoon is a positive way for the Light Blues to end their run of fixtures before they stop for the international break next week.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV following their win this afternoon, he reflected on the 90 minutes and said: “It was a long time coming, we went three or four games without a win, and I think coming out today to get the three points is something that we needed as a group. The performance was really good!
“Taking the three points before the break is well needed within the group, to go into the break on the back of a strong performance tonight will definitely help.”
The youngster reflected on the match and insisted that the squad had to adapt to the challenges presented by Bo’ness in the second half to maintain a strong performance.
He continued: “There are plenty of goal scorers in the first half which is always good to see, in the second half Bo’ness came out and were threatening us a lot more. We had to adapt to that.
“It was a good test for us, we were disappointed that we didn’t keep the clean sheet but the overall performance we were delighted. They posed threats to us in stages of the game, we dealt with it well.”
