The 19-year-old left-back enjoyed the experience facing Rangers’ city rivals in front of a crowd of 50,013 but admits he would have been happier if his side had taken all three points instead of just one following the goalless draw.
Speaking to RangersTV post-match, the on-loan Brentford defender said: "I think it was a more positive performance from us and from the whole team.
“I still think we have got a lot to improve as a team but it is a good step towards what we are trying to achieve.
“We were switched on from the start and we were concentrating for the whole game. I think everyone defensively was switched on so that was a good positive.
"I think we should maybe have come away with three points but it is what it is. We'll fight again and the league is not over. We're six points behind and we know what we need to do to get there to win.
"The atmosphere was amazing today. I don't think I've heard anything like that before so it was really good.
"As a team we were sharp and we were on it from the start. Like I said, there are still things we need to improve on and for myself personally there are lot of things I need to improve on.
“But we are getting better as a team and that's the main thing."
After a painful defeat to Club Brugge in midweek, Meghoma was pleased his side bounced back with a positive performance this afternoon.
He added: "You have to, it's Rangers Football Club. You have to bounce back straight away and there is no feeling sorry for ourselves. We just have to keep pushing and make sure we do what we need to do to win.
"[The international break] is a chance to regroup, reconnect and just focus on what is to come. Everything has happened very quickly for me personally but again it is football and I enjoy every single moment of it.”
