It is a little under a year since the midfielder made his senior Ivory Coast debut in a victory over Gabon.
Since then, he has continued his impressive development at club level, with his importance to his national team rising by each appearance.

Dessers and the Super Eagles are in Europe this international window as they play a hat-trick of matches.
Indeed, the forward was on the scoresheet yesterday as Nigeria kicked off with a 2-1 win over Ghana, played at the home of Brentford in west London.
