The teenager scored and grabbed three assists in a rampant first-half showing by the Light Blues as they ran out 5-3 winners over Hearts in the capital.
Speaking to RangersTV after the triumph, McAulay commented: “There’s no better feeling.
“I knew what we needed tonight, and I just thought to myself to go out and do my thing. I took the player on and I just kept on going.
“We know what early goals do for us and what they do to the other team. We really needed to go out and do that.
“Scoring five in the first half really set the tone.
“We came out in the second half and the performance wasn’t the best, but we needed three points tonight and we got that.”
What awaits now for the Gers is a mouthwatering final day clash with Hibernian in Govan where only a victory for Jo Potter’s side will deliver a second title in the club’s history.

She added: “We’ve been given another chance and we need to go and take it; if we don’t then it’s our own fault.
“We know what we need to do on Sunday and hopefully we can go and do that.
“We have the chance to go out and win the league title, and we have a cup final right after. We must go out and try our best; hopefully, it pays off.
“We know what the fans do in football. There’s no better feeling than walking out at Ibrox to a massive crowd.
“Hopefully people buy tickets and come along.”
