The Gers ran out 4-1 winners over Nice in France in a dominant away performance to move them a step closer to qualification to the Europa League knockout stages.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, he commented: “Support from the fans? It is amazing, they have been brilliant and I am happy that they are always there.
“They are always loud at the away games in Europe. I am grateful for that and I am sure my teammates also are very happy with how loud they are and how they support us every time.
"I would say it is a good one and it puts us in a position where we want to be.
“We don't know if we are almost qualified but we are in a good position and we are still going to try and win the other games to be in an even better position, but I am happy with the win today.”
The Ivory Coast international doubled the advantage on the evening as he did superbly to turn home Dujon Sterling’s lofted through ball, as he praised his teammates for their showing in front of goal.
He added: “I think that is one thing we should improve on, scoring a lot of goals.
“At the weekend we didn't do that but we were able to show that today and I think that is something that we should keep up, to score more goals, to take more chances here.
“I have made some similar runs to try to get the ball and try to make the runs to make space for my teammates.
“I am just happy that I was able to get this ball from Dujon and got the goal, I am happy that I continued to make the run and it got the result that I wanted.
"I have always tried to be available for my team to show that I want the ball and I want to be on the ball more.
“I want to make the difference; I want to be in the right position to set up my teammates to create chances and to score goals, that is one thing that I want to be doing.”
