The Light Blues turned the game on its head this afternoon as goals from the Albanian and Cyriel Dessers cancelled out Andy Halliday’s first-half strike for Motherwell.
The triumph means Rangers will return to the national stadium next month as they seek to retain their grip on the League Cup.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory, Bajrami commented: “We showed our quality today and for 90 minutes we believed.
“We scored two nice goals at the end and we’re in the final.
“It’s always difficult when you get goals against these teams, but we showed patience in the second half.
“We could even have scored more goals in the second half and this is the way that we need to play.
“We still have time between now and the final against Celtic, but I think it will be a great game and I’m excited.”
Collecting a pass from Vaclav Cerny on the counter-attack, Bajrami showed impressive composure to steady himself and lift his finish over Aston Oxborough with the aid of a deflection.
It was a second goal in as many games for the Albanian, who believes he’s beginning to hit his stride in a Rangers jersey.
He added: “It was a nice counter-attack and a nice pass from Vaclav. It was a good finish from myself and I try to help the team in every game.
“We need to take it game-by-game because we have a lot of games.
“After three months I’m feeling really well with my teammates and I try to help the team with goals and assists.
“We need to build on this and keep going because we have a lot of games. We have Olympiacos now and we go there to give our best and try to win the games.”
