NEDIM BAJRAMI says the players have to be ready to go again this weekend after their Old Trafford exploits.
Rangers came agonisingly close to claim a point against Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday evening, but narrowly fell to defeat after a stoppage time winner.
Speaking to the media after the game as focus now turns back to league action to take on Dundee United tomorrow, he said: “I think we played a great match, I think if you play away against United to score at the end of the game like we did but this is football so we are looking forward to Sunday.
“I think we have to look forward now for Sunday, everyone has to be ready, young players or old players we have to help them because the season is still long.”
Several youngsters were given an opportunity as the likes of Bailey Rice and Findlay Curtis were given a chance as the Albanian international praised their impact on the evening insisting he will do what he can to help their progression.
He continued: “I think we saw that a lot of key players weren't there so the young players they did well.
“We will keep helping them game by game.
“I think the players who are younger and less experienced we try to help them on and off the pitch and I think they did brilliantly.
“Game by game they have to improve away or at home.
“The United or a game in the league, I am proud of them they have to keep going like this and working hard day by day.
The 25-year-old was also credited the contribution of forward Cyriel Dessers, who was on hand to score in an impressive equaliser at the famous stadium, with attention now turning to Tannadice.
He added: “I think the last month for him wasn't so easy but he always worked.
“He tried to help the team on and off the pitch so he deserved his goal and everyone was happy for him.
“We are back to the league now and focus is on Sunday, everyone has to be ready and go for the three points.
“We know that our away form can be better but we are looking to win the game and to try our best to stay healthy.”
