The Gers have dropped points in two of their last three games and face Hibernian at Ibrox on Wednesday and the Northern Ireland captain says they must re-find the spark which fired them into the winter break.
Davis was injured when Rangers visited Easter Road in December and brushed aside Hibs in a convincing 3-0 win but he is backing his side to deliver similar this week if they are focussed.
Speaking to the media the 35-year-old said: “There is no getting away from it – it has been disappointing for us.
“I think as the manager has said, the most important thing for us to focus on trying to get our performances back to a level we know we are capable of.
“I think if we do that we should put together another good run of results but for whatever reason there has been a little bit of a spark missing.
“There is a huge desire from all the players and all the staff to have success this season. I don’t think it’s a question of anything to do with me being a senior player.
“We have had a little bit of a dip on form and when we haven’t been at our best we have dropped points.
Davis says the Rangers players have pulled together since their 0-0 draw with Aberdeen on Sunday.
Rangers league run will be broke up by a trip to Hamilton in the Scottish Cup on Saturday before they visit Kilmarnock next midweek.
Davis continued: “We had a little chat through the week, just as players and went over a few things that we think we can do better and need to focus on.
“We have to focus, it is a long season and there is still a lot of football to be played. We just have to make sure we concentrate on ourselves and go out and do our jobs.
“Hibs are a good side, a team that can cause you problems and we have quality so it should be a good game.”
