The Gers host the Edinburgh side in the historic stadium as they will get the opportunity to play in the ground for the first time this season.
Speaking ahead of the game kicking off at 1pm tomorrow the skipper insists she can’t wait for the chance to walk the team down the tunnel and onto the pitch wearing the armband after doing so against Benfica in the Champions League two seasons ago.
She said: “I can't wait, it is a huge honour for me, my friends, my family. I have always said it but there is many other leaders within the dressing room, but for me personally it will be a huge honour getting to lead out the team at Ibrox.
“There has been so many huge captains for the men's first team, to be able to do that myself is a massive honour and I just can't wait.
“We are excited for it; it is a great opportunity for us to be back here at Ibrox. The last occasions that we have played here, Champions League and obviously against City as well was an excellent turnout from the fans from that aspect.
“For us as a group of players it is an honour to play here, we are just really excited for this game and we just can't wait for it.
“It is always amazing getting to play at your men's stadium. It has got great history here at Ibrox, many fantastic matches here, for us as a group of players we just want to go and put on a performance to be proud of, especially in front of our home fans as well. We are really excited for the game and we just can't wait to get it going.”
The 31-year-old says women’s football is the fastest growing game in sport and say it will only help being able to host fixture like this in a big stadium to further expose the game.
She continued: “It is monumental for the women's game in Scotland, getting to play at your men's stadium. If you asked me that 10 years ago if it was possible I would have probably said no but look at what the board have done with us for the past three or four years, they have massively backed us.
“I think that is so important, we want to be at the forefront of women's football here in Scotland and continue to make it grow, because women's football is the fastest growing sport. For us we want to get as many fans through the door as possible and hopefully we can do that and put on a performance to be proud of as well.
The defender says firm focus is on delivering another victory for the Gers as they look for their seventh win in a row in all competitions but she insists they will be in for a tough test hosting the side from the capital.
She added: “Hibs are always a difficult opponent, they have obviously got their manager back in who they had previously, Grant Scott, who is a good guy as well.
“They will be well set up in terms of being organised and tactically aware, for us we just need to be very patient when we are moving the ball and making sure that we are also clinical when we get in front of goal.
“It is going to be a difficult match but hopefully we can take the home advantage in the home of our fans and put on a performance that we are proud of.
“For us it would be three points first and foremost, that is what we want from all football games, that is the most important thing. Like Jo has said previously in interviews is we want to keep growing as a team each week.
“You can definitely see that in our performances that we are starting to grow as a team. For us not only do we want the three points but we want to be playing well in matches and that is what we will be looking to do.”
