Malky Thomson’s side host Spartans at Rangers Training Centre as they look to continue their strong start to the season.
Docherty was on the scoresheet as the Light Blues beat Hearts 3-0 on Sunday and is expecting another difficult test from Spartans.
Speaking to RangersTV she said: “It will be another difficult match, Debbi McCulloch sets Spartans up really well and they are a well-structured team.
“It is another team that we are going to have to try and break down and show our composure so I think we will need to be patient in the build-up."
The left-back says the squad appreciate the support as they prepare for their first home league match of the season.
She continued: “The fans create an atmosphere and it would be amazing for us if they were to come and watch our game.
“Tickets are available and hopefully they can come down because they can really create an atmosphere at the training ground.”
