The Light Blues will contest the Sky Sports Cup final later today as they take on Hibs at Fir Park, looking to win the trophy for a third season running.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the game, the defender said: “It would mean the world, I think getting the pleasure of doing that as Rangers captain is huge, for my family that have travelled me up and down the country for many years to get me to this point.
“To do that again with the special group that we have got in the dressing room and the staff that work tirelessly behind the scenes it would be a real special one to lift that.
“We are trying to emulate that as much as we can with the women's team, because obviously the history of the club is winning things.
“We want to do that as much as we can here, we won the two cups last year as well so we want to try and do that again.
“As a player and I always have been is having that winning mentality and I have always wanted to win things.
“That is no different at Rangers and the success of the club over the years is winning silverware.
“Us as a women's team we want to do that, we know that it is going to be a tough test but we are right up for it as well and I am sure it will be a great game of football.
“We are really excited to get going, it is a cup final so we are looking forward to it and it’s our trophy so we want to try and defend that.
The Scotland international has spoken of her role in the team in the lead-up to these games, insisting everyone in the squad has a part to play in the build-up.
She continued: “There are so many leaders within the dressing room, it doesn't only come from me.
“There's players in that dressing room that have won trophies before.
“We can certainly add that and use that experience in knowing that players have done it before.
“But we have all just got to stick together and have that winning mentality on the day.
“When it does get to a cup final it is the small details and that is something that we need to get right before going into it.
“We have got the experienced players in the dressing room but we have also got the young talented players as well who have got their hands on silverware with us.
“We just really need to use that to the best that we can and hopefully we come out on top.”
The 32-year-old has spoken of the team’s run to the final, and now acknowledges the task at hand as they look to get the better of Hibs for the first time this season.
She added: “Old Firm semi? Of course, when you beat your rivals it's always a sweet one.
“It was a great game and we just turned up that day and I think when it does get to semi-finals and cup finals it’s just who has kind of got the bottle on the day.
“Hopefully we have got the bottle and we can get the job done.
“The last time we played Hibs it was a defeat so we have really been working on things that we wanted to do from that past game.
“We are going to use that and hopefully we can bounce back in this cup final.”
