The 26-year-old became Malky Thomson’s latest signing and arrives with experience at collegiate and professional level in the USA.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV, Nolf said: “You don't want to be somewhere where people aren't trying to be the best so that helps a lot.
“Normally this period is my off-season so what an opportunity to be playing in games. The club have had a lot of success already, they're playing in the Champions League. Lots of things are going for the team right now.
“I'm excited to get in and just experience how the group is moving, what we're working on, and hopefully help the group out.
“Everyone has great energy towards what they're doing and a great purpose for the club so that's a place that I want to be at."
The American also believes that her qualities on the pitch will add value to the current Rangers group as they look to build sustained success both domestically and in Europe.
Nolf continued: “I'm really excited to learn. Everyone looks at football differently so I'll definitely have stuff to add [to the team].
“I pride myself on working hard so whatever environment that I'm in, I'm expecting myself to be soaking in the knowledge and letting that grow. I think I can add something to the group but I'm also expecting the group to add a lot to me.
“I don't want to come in here thinking I'm amazing. I have a very humble mindset and I love football so I'm excited to play among the group, use our styles to collaborate and hopefully make the team better.”
